Not medical advice
Rest Day generates training suggestions from your data using statistical models and AI. It is not a medical professional and not medical advice. Training carries inherent risk. Consult a physician before starting or changing a training program — especially if you have any cardiovascular, metabolic, or musculoskeletal condition — and stop and seek care if something feels wrong. You are always the final judge of what your body should do; you use the plans at your own risk.
Terms (private beta)
This is invite-only beta software provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. It will have bugs; numbers can be wrong; features can change or disappear. Don't abuse the service (scripted traffic, attempting access to other athletes' data). We can suspend accounts to protect the service. These terms are governed by common sense until the beta ends.
Privacy
We store what you give us: account details, physiology values, goals, wellness check-ins, chat messages with the coach, and workout data (uploaded files or synced from Strava, including 1-second sensor streams). We use it for exactly one purpose: coaching you. AI processing is performed by Anthropic (coach reasoning and plan generation) and OpenAI (text embeddings) under their API terms; your data is not used to train their models per those terms. We don't sell data, run ads, or share data with anyone else. Email is sent via Resend. Ask and we'll export or delete your data — during the beta this is a manual request to Charlie.
Strava
Activity data synced from Strava is used only to power your own coaching (metrics, plan reconciliation, the coach's memory) and is never shared with other users or third parties. You can disconnect Strava at any time in Settings → Strava, which revokes our access; if you revoke access on strava.com instead, we stop syncing immediately. Historical workouts remain in your training record unless you ask us to delete them.
